We expect our therapists and teachers to be professional, courteous and knowledgeable and to deliver unforgettable services. As such we have several policies in place to maintain high standards and in fairness to all of our clients.
Appointments -
At the Human Element Center massage appointments are by appointment only. We are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.
Cancellation Policy -
Our time together is important. Unless there is an emergency, it is requested that you cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance or pay the missed appointment fee in full. Call and leave a message on the answering machine to cancel appointments or change scheduling. Clients who fail to show up for their scheduled appointment time will not be scheduled for future appointments. Gift certificates may be forfeited for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. Gift certificates will be forfeited for no shows.
Lateness Policy -
We request that you arrive early for your appointment. If you arrive late for your appointment, the time left will be used to its best advantage. If the massage therapist is late for the appointment, the remaining time will be used and the client will receive a discount or will not be charged for the massage session.
Illness Policy –
We recognize that both massage therapists and clients are vulnerable to infections and therefore ask clients to cancel appointments when they are feeling unwell as it actually undermines your healing process and is also not permitted by Sanitary Code.
